Bard-Smolny Study Abroad Program Staff

The Bard-Smolny Program has three full-time staff members in St. Petersburg to help you with day-to day program issues, including housing, the cultural program, student life and adjustment, and integration into life in St. Petersburg and at Smolny.

The Program Manager at Smolny College is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the study abroad program, including the enforcement of program policies, and acts as a liaison between participants and the administration of Smolny and Bard Colleges.

The Associate Dean for International Students at Smolny College works with study abroad participants to help provide a viable and appropriate academic program. She is the responsible dean with regard to all academic issues concerning international students at Smolny College, including student academic issues and breaches of academic policy by international students. The dean also acts as an advisor for international students.

IILE staff members at Bard will guide you through the application and acceptance process, the visa application process, all pre-departure procedures and preparations, and the transfer of credit following your completion of the program.
