A new Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Montenegro is enrolling students

We are pleased to announce that Smolny Beyond Borders is not the only liberal education project of Russian origin being revived abroad under current circumstances. Our colleagues and allies from Shaninka are launching the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Montenegro. The enrollment for the first year continues until September 1. Admissions are being conducted in the Arts Faculty of the University of Donya Gorica. The academic year is set to begin on September 11, 2023, based on a curriculum approved by the new faculty and licensed by the Montenegro Ministry of Education and Science (License No. 295 of December 17, 2009).

The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (http://liberalarts.me) is currently undergoing accreditation with the Montenegro Ministry of Education and Science.

The duration of the course is 3 years, in line with the Bologna system standards. Upon completion, students will receive a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree indicating their chosen major. There are six specializations offered: Art History, Cross-Cultural Linguistics, Digital Humanities, Media Studies and Journalism, New Political Science, and Social Theory and Sociological Research. Instruction is provided in both English and Russian.

Admission requirements:
– Fill out the registration form;
– Submit a motivational letter;
– Pass an English language test;
– Undergo an interview.
